Oceans cover approximately 70% of the Earth, and contain around 97% of our water supply for drinking and everyday use. On board m/y p e g a s u s, we are merely a guest in these waters. It is our duty to care for our oceans properly and safely. Keep in mind that we are not the only ones inhabiting the ocean. Marine life and ecosystems depend on the delicate balance of the oceans and seas. We must be alert as to how much water we use on board, as well as how much we conserve. We also use environmentally friendly products on board, from kitchen cleaners to laundry detergents.

We ask that our guests join us to try and conserve water on board. This involves keeping laundry to a moderate level, and using the same towel for a few days. Please be aware of how long your shower is and try to keep your cabin tidy.

Every time you take a swim, or admire the beauty of a wonderful sunset over the ocean, remember that we are responsible for keeping it pristine. We must care for our oceans now, not just for our enjoyment, but also for future generations. We thank you kindly for your friendly cooperation.
